The jungle animals try to share their excitement over Christmas with Jim Panzee, but he feels too grumpy to appreciate their efforts.

At first Jim is impressed with Norman's new pet bugs, but he quickly becomes jealous of all the time Norman spends with them and when the bugs have babies, Jim declares Norman has too many pets.

When Jim Panzee is banished from the jungle after making Oxpecker mad at him, his best friend Norman joins him, but when they end up in the desert and Norman is miserable, Jim agrees to apologize so they can go back home.
