Geronimo Stiltonoot wakes up to a terrible morning. Meteors are falling from the sky, and everyone in Old Mouse City has an awful stomachache! When a pirate gets shipwrecked on Mouse Island, Geronimo Stiltonoot and his family offer to help the stranger look for a hidden treasure.

It's the start of an exciting cavemice contest: a race to Boulder Bay and back! It's a dangerous route, but it will supply the village cheese maker with rare hot lava peppers, and there's a big cash prize. Trap teams up with Geronimo -- who has a lazy, slow, city autosaurus (the cavemice mode of transportation). Can they reach the finish line without going extinct on the way?

When the Cavemice discover a giant oyster in the lagoon near Old Mouse City, they call on Geronimo Stiltonoot to help them fish it out of the water before the saber-toothed tigers find the pearl.

When their cousin is stung by a cavefly and falls into a deep sleep, Geronimo and Thea set out in search of the rare pink stinkrose, whose petals are thought to provide a cure.
